Stone Soup Update for Sunday 4/1/12.
Last week we studied The Practice of Saying "No": Sabbath.
This week we'll be studying the Practice of Pronouncing Blessings: Benedictions (Ch. 12 Altars in the World). Since Sunday is Palm Sunday, look at Mark 11:1-11 for the blessings pronouced by the crowd: Then those who went ahead and those who followed were shouting, "Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!
Dinner is Meaty Bean Night. Kanda is bringing the main dish, Verlie-potato salad everyone else a vegetable dish, salad or dessert.
The Stone Soup group will serve the community breakfast after the Easter Sunrise Service April 8 7:30 a.m.
We're also working on  the Welcome Table- providing a weekly meal for the community...
See you Sunday at 4, bring a friend (or an enemy).
Peace,
Rob
...I'm in black and white tonight 'cause I was feeling retro?

  1. I was on the verge of cursing (or at least cussing) my garbage can Sunday night but I stopped myself and I blessed my garbage can and thanked it for holding my garbage and doing a job that is normally undesirable. I felt better. I hope it received my positive energy and my blessing.
