Stone Soup for 2/17/2013
Last week we studied Reconciliation through eating, so we're going to practice it this Sunday.
We'll meet at the Wesley Cottage at 4 p.m. for a quick check in and some business and then we'll go eat with our community. If you are running late just meet at the Onion.
Below is the Slow Foods Foothills newsletter and potluck invitation.

Slow Food Foothills February Potluck
The Purple Onion, Saluda
Well, the good news is that Punxsutawney Phil didn't see his shadow, but the winter chill just won’t let go. Join us for warm and wonderful mid-winter potluck gathering at the Purple Onion on Sunday, February 17th from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. Bring your best comfort food. Those attending are asked once again to bring your own place settings and a description of your dish, noting anything local.
Located at 16 Main Street in historic Saluda, The Purple Onion, www.purpleonionsaluda.com, offers a variety of ethnically and regionally inspired dishes. Owner Susan Casey takes great pride in offering the community the best in locally grown raised trout and organic, locally grown produce as well as a wide variety of live music. Susan is graciously opening her doors for this gathering to help chase away the winter blues.
